SLEMAN – While reviewing preparations for the launch of the ABA Semesta Kindergarten in Gamping, Sleman, on Tuesday (May 12th), the Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership (PP), Haedar Nashir, called this educational institution a center of excellence.
Haedar conducted the inspection with the Deputy Minister of Elementary and Secondary Education, Fajar Riza Ul Haq, along with members of PP Muhammadiyah, including General Treasurer Hilman Latief, Secretary Izzul Muslimin, and members of PP ‘Aisyiyah, including Tri Hastuti Nur Rochimah, Siti Noordjannah Djohantini, Siti Aisyah, and the Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta, Warsiti.
In his presentation, Haedar explained that of the more than 20,000 ABA Kindergartens across Indonesia, one must stand out and become a center of excellence. He also requested integration with other ABA Kindergartens.
“‘Aisyiyah is a pioneer of kindergartens. We must maintain that pioneering position and remain at the forefront of providing quality education for children,” said Haedar Nashir during his visit.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister of Elementary and Secondary Education, Fajar Riza Ul Haq, expressed his appreciation for the consistent steps taken by ‘Aisyiyah Central Board in providing quality education for children. Fajar also praised the iconic building design.
In addition to the architectural design, Fajar also appreciated the services within, which prioritize child safety. Furthermore, ABA Semesta Kindergarten will also serve as an integrated center with neighboring ABA Kindergartens.
“This is also part of ‘Aisyiyah’s effort to provide educational facilities and an inclusive play area for children,” he said.
The ABA Semesta Kindergarten building not only houses classrooms and a staff room, but also includes various facilities to support future teaching and learning activities, such as healthcare facilities, an indoor playground, a swimming pool, a mini theater, and more.
Similarly, Siti Noordjannah Djohantini added that the building’s architecture, in addition to prioritizing student safety and comfort, also takes into account the presence of parents. A dedicated pick-up area is also provided for parents.
Noordjannah also emphasized collaboration and integration between ABA Semesta Kindergarten and surrounding ABA kindergartens, particularly those in the Gamping District, where there are approximately 20 ABA kindergartens.
